If something we did was not right, tell us. In most cases we would rather fix the work than argue about a refund. Email info@zenflare.digital and we will respond within 3 business days.

1. Your cooling-off right

If you bought from us online or by electronic communication, section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 gives you 7 days to cancel without reason and receive a refund.

This right does not apply once a service has been fully performed with your agreement, or to work made to your specification. Where work has already begun, we may retain a fair amount for what was done.

2. CleanPro — cleaning services

2.1 If you are not satisfied

Tell us within 48 hours of the appointment. We will return and re-clean the item at no charge. Re-cleaning is our first remedy and usually resolves the issue.

2.2 If re-cleaning does not fix it

If a re-clean does not achieve a reasonable result, we will refund the amount paid for that item.

2.3 Cancelling a booking

When you cancelWhat happens
More than 24 hours beforeFull refund of anything paid
Less than 24 hours beforeUp to 50% may be retained as a call-out fee
We cannot access the propertyUp to 50% may be retained as a call-out fee
We cancelFull refund, or a new date at your choice

2.4 What we cannot refund for

Cleaning cannot reverse pre-existing damage. We do not refund for: wear, fading or sun damage; permanent stains disclosed as unlikely to lift before we started; colour loss or shrinkage in delicate or unlabelled fabrics cleaned at your risk; or marks caused by using an item before it was fully dry.

3. ZenTech — software and prototyping

3.1 Free prototypes

Nothing is charged, so nothing is refundable.

3.2 Deposits

Deposits secure your place in our schedule and cover initial work. A deposit is refundable in full if you cancel before we begin. Once work has started it is refundable only to the extent it exceeds work already performed.

3.3 Work in progress

You may cancel a project at any time in writing. You pay for work completed and costs committed up to that date; anything already paid beyond that is refunded.

3.4 Delivered work

If a Deliverable materially fails to meet the agreed written scope, tell us within 14 days of delivery. We will correct it at no charge. If we cannot bring it materially in line with the scope, we will refund the portion of the fee attributable to the failing part.

We do not refund for: changes of mind about scope after acceptance; features never included in the written scope; problems caused by your own changes to the code; or failures of third-party platforms, hosting or APIs outside our control.

3.5 Hosting and subscriptions

Recurring fees are charged for the period ahead. Cancel any time before the next renewal and you will not be charged again. Part-months are not refunded, and access continues to the end of the paid period.

3.6 Trading automation

We do not refund on the basis of trading losses. Our fee buys the building of a tool that executes a strategy you specify. It is not a promise of profit, and market outcomes are not a defect in the software.

4. How to request a refund

  1. Email info@zenflare.digital with your name, invoice or booking reference, the date, and what went wrong.
  2. We acknowledge within 3 business days.
  3. For cleaning, we may need to inspect the item or ask for photographs.
  4. We tell you our decision, with reasons, within 10 business days of having the information we need.

5. How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original payment method — a card payment is reversed to that card, an EFT is repaid to the originating account. We cannot refund a card payment as a cash or EFT payout.

Once approved, we process within 5 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take a further 3 to 10 business days to reflect it. Any bank charge on the original payment may be deducted where the law allows.

6. If you are still unhappy

Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. If we cannot resolve a complaint, you may refer it to the National Consumer Commission at thencc.gov.za or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud at cgso.org.za.

Please raise a dispute with us before asking your bank for a chargeback — it is almost always faster, and we would rather put the work right.
