We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Some of our providers store data outside South Africa. Where that happens, we only use providers that are subject to laws or binding agreements offering protection substantially similar to POPIA, as required by section 72 of the Act.
We keep records for as long as needed for the purpose collected, and then for any period the law requires. Financial and transaction records are kept for seven years as required by the Companies Act 71 of 2008 and tax legislation. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access and misuse. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our systems, and limiting access to information to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a security compromise affects your personal information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as required by section 22 of POPIA.
